The Agency...

Album Launch at Cluny 2, Newcastle, 17 October 2021 6pm 

The Agency… return to the Cluny 2 to celebrate the launch of ‘In the Haunted Woods’.  Released on 23 October 2020, the launch has been postponed for a year.  In that time the album has been gaining critical acclaim and radio play both nationally and internationally.  

Newcastle’s dystopian rockers (Narc Magazine) will be joined on stage by The Two Pennies Choir during the performance.  The choir is based in North Shields and lead by multi-instrumentalist and singer Niopha Keegan best known for her work with the Unthanks.  This promises to a be a special one-off performance with a full ensemble.  You can find out more about the Two Pennies Choir here https://www.facebook.com/The-Two-Pennies-Boozy-Choir-102565031674931/

Tour and Vinyl Pressing 

The Agency… are currently adding dates for a autumn tour include slots in London, Brighton and NE Volume Music Bar and Venue in Stockton (5 November).  Updates and confirmations will follow.  To coincide with the tour dates, there will be a special limited edition repress of “In the Haunted Woods” on vinyl.  Copies will be available at the gigs with any spares made available on the Agency… bandcamp site after the tour.  The band is currently also working on material for another album.

In March we took over the Attention Please show over on Nova Radio.  There's an extended cut available for your aural pleasure.  As well as featuring our musical choices the show includes a brand new track recorded by us called 'We Fell to the Floor'...trust us we're still working hard...

This Sunday night The Agency... will be playing a half hour acoustic set over on 8K Live's 'Big Big Night' 2000-0000.  Most of the songs will be from the forthcoming album 'In the Haunted Woods' and it will be the first time some of them have ever been aired.  So, definitely worth tuning in.
